BRETT MEETS ANNEMARIE:

- - - Annemarie Becomes A Christian
From the very beginning of our talking, I was always super cautious of how bold to be about my faith. I wanted Annemarie to know what I believed, but I didn't want to scare her with it. I just know the Bible to be the truth and the best way to go about living your life... it was just a matter of how quickly to reveal that. Fortunately, God helped me out a little bit (or maybe it was the other way around). I thought I was overdoing it by sending Annemarie 3 translations of the Bible via FedEx from North Carolina... but some all-too-perfect timing from a FedEx delivery meant Annemarie was hand delivered the Word during a random lunch-time trip home. It was just one small step into Annemarie giving her heart to Jesus and really starting to grow that precious heart of hers even more.

But more of that to come in the reason why I asked Annemarie to marry me and why we got engaged...
