It's an awesome feeling when you meet someone you just know you were meant to be great friends with.... and that's the way it was for me with Alex.

At the beginning of 2005 I moved into the house Alex was living in and would end up living there for the next 5 years. It didn't take long to realize that we had a lot in common and pretty similar personalities. Alex is super smart and I had fun trying to keep up with him during our conversations. I'm always up for learning new sports and he definitely introduced me to all the ins and outs of competitive cycling.

After 2 years Alex left to pursue a doctorate degree at Mizzou which he's just now finishing up. I'm excited to have him back in Santa Barbara soon as I've missed him.

I had the pleasure of being in Alex's wedding and I'm excited to have Alex be a part of mine.
